I do have one small critique of the Note 9.
For the always on display, you can select an infinite variety of colors for the lock screen, but only a few preset colors for the always on display screen.
That's exactly the opposite of what should be. You don't need an infinite choice for the lock screen as that is activated for a fraction of a second at a time.
You do however need an infinite choice of colors for the always on display screen so you have the largest choice of colors as the screen is on continuously - as per the function description.
Not only do you need the infinite color choice for mere aesthetics for the always on display screen, but also for the most energy efficient color choice. I wanted the darkest color possible as a balance between visibility and battery consumption.
Anyone else think the same thing?
