I have fairly large hands and when I hold the phone in one hand with my fingers wrapped around because of the bezzel, the screen will register my finger tips and pad below my thumb as touches. It definitely gets annoying!

When walking with the device, why not press the power button to 'lock' the screen? Also, use the finger print scanning option to uncle the device.

I mean like sitting here reading the forums, I will have the note in my left hand with my left thumb up and my 4 fingers around the other side. I also hold it that way when using ok google. I do not have a case on it either.

A case would help, I have Spigen ultra hybrid, air cushion case, It made my note 5 the same width as my note 4, and has a .5mm lip for when the phone is face down, that may help you, I found mine on amazon but I'm sure you can get them pretty much anywhere

I have always had a case and have one for this one, but have not had it on in a week. It's a trade off.

This. I had the same issue holding the phone and misregistered taps until I put a case on the phone. Sucks that this has to be a work around, but the bezels are so tiny that it can't be helped.

Agreed... my problems stopped once I put my case on - the 1st problem was the same as the OP and the 2nd was I found it scarily slippery. I always felt like I was going to drop it. Case fixed both and I'm happy!
