I'm seriously impressed by how solidly built the Evo is. Ya know, I don't even think it will blend. :-)

Your right. I have had many phones and I can say the Evo is the best in build quality. My one complaint would be that the camera lens did not stick out as it does. But definitely not a deal breaker.

Dude I feel the same way....after all the phones I owned I just can't get enough of this EVO. I don't even knw how can I even settle later for another screens hopefully EVO can keep on coming out the same way with more features every yr cause I would b buying them

The build quality has been great for me too, but there are some others who aren't as fortunate. It's still a little early to tell how well the phone will hold up though.

The ruggedest, best built phones I've ever had were Palm Treos. One fell of my motorcycle in an accident and bounced a good 20 - 30 feet down the road. The battery cover and phone were 10 feet apart, and I couldn't find the battery.

When I put my spare battery in, it powered right up and worked perfectly. I wouldn't expect my Evo to survive a similar crash.

This is the most solid of the 8 different HTC devices I have owned. I am hard on these devices it just feels like my EVO can take it.

definitely solid IMO, Ive dropped it twice from about 4ft (with a Seidio Innocase) and it hasnt missed a beat. w/e I dropped my BB Curve it would reboot lol

Agreed. Mine experienced a major fall without a case & I'm confident I'm the only person who can spot the minor damage.

Nothing can get past the Blentech 3000!! I mean NOTHING... Would love to see them put an Evo in there.

Remembering having watched that video is what prompted me to post. It's a shame what that nut does with perfectly functional technology. Watching him blend an iPad was especially painful to watch.
What a waste of a good gadget.

What a waste of a good gadget.

It's a gimmick. People watch it. Some people love it, others hate it. Either way, it's publicity. It's not as bad as those kids who waited in line for a PS3 on launch day, walked out onto the sidewalk in front of everybody, and destroyed it with a sledgehammer. Although I support that as well.

The things you own end up owning you.
