One thing that still bothers me - monochrome for black and white photos

We cannot use the awesome monochrome sensor for black and white photos. I have kept an eye on xda and it looks like they haven't cracked it yet. I love black and white photography and would love to be able to use the sensor for this purpose.

I also enjoy taking black and white photos. Perhaps we just have to take a normal picture first and then turn it black and white. Been enjoying low light black and white photos.

The monochrome filter in the editor is really good.

The filter is good, but there is a difference between turning a color photo black and white and taking a black and white photo, black and white photos have better contract and are sharper because they are pulling in less information.

The filter on the honor camera app may just remove the colour lens information
