I doubt that I can get the update until I return to Canada. Currently in Portugal using a temporary Vodafone sim.

Well this morning the update downloaded. What is confusing is I don't have my home country SIM installed just a temporary from Vodofone. Will hope for the best on the install so far after restarting it looks okay.

has one UI 5.1 change your Samsung unlock update splash screen ? be for I was getting the Samsung update splash when I was on one UI 5.0 now am getting Verizon splash screen update that tells you the list of improvements even no I have the unlock model did any thing change for you ?

Mine still has the Samsung splash screen. Are you using unlocked firmware, or did you change to Verizon firmware? I kept unlocked firmware since I've had my device and don't use any Verizon apps so I never changed firmware.

I did not do any thing it did it on its own the only thing i have is my Verizon app installed and that's it

That's odd. I don't have My Verizon, but it seems odd that single app would change your splash screen.
