One UI 6 Update

Where TF is it for Beta testers? T-Mobile? Do carriers "yield" to each other?!

If you're on T-Mobile, then you have to wait until T-Mobile releases it. It has nothing to do with carriers "yielding" to each other. Whatever that means. Nor does it matter if you are already on the beta.

My daughter's S22 is the U1 and she will probably get the update directly from Samsung in another week or so (or whenever Samsung releases it in the US).

Update:

My daughter's unlocked S22 on Verizon got the update today too.

Update to the update: I double checked; she only got the November security update. She's still on Android 13/OneUI 5.1.1.

Sorry for the false alarm.

I got the update (One UI 6.0) for AT&T Locked by setting the date on my phone to Dec. 31 2023, then check for updates. Only bad thing is that my Apps vertical scrolling with most used apps header no longer works. Hopefully can get it back eventually.

This is on the S22 Ultra

It takes about a week or two for Good Lock to get updated for all its features to work.

I've looked in Frija and SamMobile for the update so I could flash the firmware........no dice 😑

I noticed that Samsung fixed a bug that wouldn't allow you to start DeX on a PC, or cast to a monitor or TV without first turning off Link to Windows.

I use either the default launcher or Nova. I've never tried any others.
If you have a M365 subscription, Microsoft Launcher is the better launcher. Microsoft, Nova, and OneUI are the three best launchers for Android. The only downside to Nova is that you have to pay to get the full capabilities. The other two you don't need to pay to use their full capabilities.

I bought Nova years ago. It was the first app I paid for when I switched to Android.

I really only use Microsoft 365 for the 1 TB OneDrive storage. I can't remember the last time I've needed any other Microsoft apps.
