One UI 6 Update

I bought Nova years ago. It was the first app I paid for when I switched to Android.

I really only use Microsoft 365 for the 1 TB OneDrive storage. I can't remember the last time I've needed any other Microsoft apps.
I use Edge, Outlook, Authenticator, and To Do (share lists with the bride)

I use OneDrive, OneNote, and Outlook regularly. OneNote can access Microsoft Sticky Notes, so when I add something to my grocery list on my desktop, it automatically syncs with my phone. I can just swipe right to bring up my sticky notes on my phone to bring up my sticky notes with my grocery list. I also use OneNote for recipes. Outlook is my main email app, and I sync Gallery with my OneDrive for photos and videos.

Microsoft got me through both my bachelor's and master's degrees (my school offered a free M365 license) and I can get M365 family for $70/year (that is for up to 6 users).

Gmail and Google Keep? Meh and no desktop apps. Evernote? Great, but not free. Good Notes? Terrible and not free.

Oh yeah. I use Edge and Authenticator too. I don't use To Do a lot. I use Planner at work though. Microsoft is merging To Do, Planner, and Project into one app, so I may use Planner more often. Honestly, I could use To Do for my grocery lists. I just haven't gotten around to switching.

I never use OneNote, since it has so many variations (web version, mobile version, desktop version) that I can't make sense of what to do when. I use Samsung Notes for to do. Never bothered with to do on desktop. Outlook.com is my junk email, since it's full of spam anyway. Gmail has a better spam filter. Google Keep is convenient. I never have a use for lists or notes on a desktop PC. My PC is mainly for gaming. I used Microsoft and desktop PC for school and work, but I have no real use for it now except for gaming.

Has anyone had any issues after the tweak on the One UI 6 update?
-Screen is significantly dimmer.
The brightness bar setting was
barely at 4 mm.s, now I need an
inch (25mms)! Being sensitive
to light, that's incredible.
-Battery draining faster than
should. I've throttled down
everything I can find, in fact
maybe TOO MUCH.
-Gallery shows as
"incompatible". Not sure if
a result of EN update
begrudgingly done today.

Love my SG23U

How long have you been running OneUI 6? I experienced battery drain for a few days following the update, but it settled down. Now the battery lasts longer than it did before the update, despite my device being almost two years old.

As far as Battery, I put a bunch of Apps to sleep, Helped A TON.
Drain is Much LESS Now.
-Still ... other concerns remain.

Have you tried safe mode to rule any rogue apps out of the equation? Sometimes apps don't play nice with updates 😞
