I agree with you. I'm back to my S23 Ultra. I just can't understand why they haven't fixed this on the S25 Ultra. I was thinking about the S26, but I would have to wait for testing. Most reviewers just take outdoor shots and videos. If you take an indoor shot of a pet with long hair it's a smudgy mess. You might remember when they fixed this problem with the S22 and the S23 and S24 are fine. Then again, the camera should work correctly right out of the box. You shouldn't have to wait months for updates. In the meantime, if you use Expert Raw, you can get some acceptable indoor shots with the S25 Ultra.

That's the crazy part, why can't stock camera match Expert Raw for quality ?? Makes no sense.....

Downloaded on my S25 Edge unlocked model on T-Mobile.

Glad the step child in the S25 series got the update quickly as well

Just updated on unlocked Wi-Fi only (for the time being) S25 Ultra.

I had started timer in the Clock app prior to deciding to see if the update was available for me (was reminded while reading this thread).

After successfully downloading and installing the Android 16 and One UI 8 update, the alarm continued/resumed after the installation completed and I logged back into the phone.

The timer actually kept on counting down during the installation and reboot phases (or at least somehow marked the time when the reboot happened, and then subtracted the "downtime" between the reboot and installation completion, and then continued/resumed).
