One X on RadioShack.com for $$49!!!

yeah but you also get 7 Coldplay songs....is it worth it? lol...i am just kidding, that is a good price on a (from what I understand) a decent phone...

Its $50 with the upgrade. Isnt it like that for every carrier though? Isnt the E4GLTE going for $200 regular therefore $150 off with upgrade = $50 price. Right?

I would call ATT and change the primary line status to the eligible line. I did it a couple of years back and it was instantaneous. Then you can order it for $50. The deal is still showing good for May 1st. Now why would ATT and/or RS give such a deep discount to the primary line (60%) I have no idea, but i'll take it. Especially if they are willing to pay me $82 for my Torch 9800.:p

Thx for the heads up. I just checked and I to can get the 49.99 deal as well. Two thing have me concerned tho. The plan I select (Nation FamilyTalk 1400 w/ Rollover (2 Lines) - Contract Extension) has "2 Lines" written in it. What does that mean? Does that mean for me to get the deal I have to renew my contract for 2 lines for 2 years? Also I currently have unlimited DATA. Will I be able to keep that if I buy the phone through Radio shack?

Yes this will renew your contract and before you activate your phone just call att and they'll honor your unlimited data plan

I am on the phone with Amazon right now to see if they will match the price. I pre-ordered mine from Amazon last night so if they wont match, I will have to cancel it.

I went to the website, and I can get the deal. Quick question, wondering if anyone posting in here knows. I am not the primary line on my family plain, however the primary line on my family plan is eligible for an upgrade. I know from past dealings with upgrading phones, you can use upgrades for other lines, so my guess is I could just use the upgrade for the primary line, and then pop my SIM card in, and everything would be just fine? The person on the primary line would then just have to use my upgrade if they want to upgrade the phone?

Why can they not make this deal for new lines, too? Makes me mad...

Any radioshack employees or someone with more radioshack experience than me help me figure out a way to get this deal? :) No upgrades available, on any lines. It will HAVE to be a new line. If I can't get it then so be it.

Just to follow up with my earlier post, amazon did indeed match the $49 price from Radio Shack. They didnt put up much of a fight, so I would suggest calling them and asking them to match - they may do so even for new lines.

Are you on the primary line, or did they match it for just any line? I can use the upgrade of my primary line, so it's not a problem for me. However, my wife is looking to upgrade, and we are each on family plans with our parents to make things cheaper, and the primary line is not eligble for an upgrade on her family plan.

wow that is actually kind of surprising...$49 is bottom barrel...lol I never thought I would be ordering my One X for that price...

quick note- did amazon match price on the white one or gray only?

I am on the primary line but I don't believe Amazon actually checked this. I walked the guy through the Radio Shack website to show the price difference, and he said, "Wow, ok...well I will go ahead and adjust your order". $52 total for the phone delivered :) Their customer service is great.

I would give it a try, but you want to order it first and then contact them. If they don't honor the price, you can always cancel before the ship date.

Just an update for anyone who is wondering. I decided to go ahead and try to upgrade my line, which is not the primary line on my family account, through Amazon, and then call and get them to price match.

The person on Amazon seemed a little reluctant at first, not because of any problem with my account, but because I apparently forgot to lead with the fact that I had already placed the order and was wanting that order price matched. They said, not realizing I had already ordered the phone, that I needed to wait for the phone to ship and see if they could price match it then, so she recommended I wait to order the phone. I then mentioned that I had already ordered the phone, and after a brief hold period, they came back and said I could get the discount.

I ordered the Gray one, but that's the one I was going for anyway, and they never asked about the color or anything, I just had to lead them to the correct page on Radio Shack. I did have to tell the rep to click on the Primary line for a Family account to get the correct price, but she never asked to verify the line I was upgrading was the primary line.

So, to make a long post even longer, I would go ahead and at least try to order the phone through Amazon, even if you aren't the primary line of a Family plan, and see if they will give you the price match. As I said above, they never asked about the color of the phone, didn't even mention it at all, so I would say you would probably safe with getting the white phone.

I guess I'm forfeiting my chance at the $50 gift card from Best Buy, but for $150 in savings over Best Buy's price, it's well worth it. Also, like others have mentioned when ordering from Amazon, they threw in a free car charger with my order. I love Amazon!

Yep, mine was a white one and I got the $50 price too. People looking to get the white one should be good to try it out.

EDIT - and yes, I got a free car charger too. Whats weird is, it shows up on the order, but I never saw it listed when i was purchasing the device. I received the confirmation email, and saw the extra item listed. It's a nice little surprise.
