I was between this and the pixel and I'm settling (or..never settling? haha) for the One Plus 3. It definitely offers more bang for the buck. I'm glad to see all the positive reviews it is getting.

I'm waiting to see if Black Friday will offer any deals. Not expecting a temporary decrease in price but maybe there will be a free case thrown in? Not sure what's the likelihood of that though.

This will be my self Christmas gift!

I am a little surprised at the benchmark scores for the 3T, when compared to the 3. After all the hype surrounding the new SnapDragon 821 chip, I was expecting more of a difference.

I disagree with the idea that it's less of a value than the first OP3. The battery is more than 10% bigger; the processor is more than 10% better and makes it possible for it to get some nextgen features that the 820 is likely to be screwed on, another color choice and a 128 GB option (for $40 additional). I obviously wouldn't upgrade from the OP3 to the OP3T because it's somewhat negligible, but a person looking at both phones, the OP3T is the better value per dollar IMO and it's the better device without question.

Yes. All the same cases for the OP3, since there is no physical difference between the 3 and 3T. See the sticky at the top of the forum.
