OnePlus 6 or Mate 10 Pro?

Hi! So I'm basically due an upgrade this week and I'm looking to either get the op6 or Mate 10 Pro. I'm slightly leaning towards the Mate because of the fantastic battery Life which should come in handy when I start university this September, and I've heard that the Op6s camera isn't as good as the mate 10 Pros; could anyone confirm this?

However the OnePlus does have the better software, BUT I guess I could slap on Nova launcher on the Mate anyway so to me EMUI shouldn't be a deal breaker. Also, how bad are Huawei with software updates, in comparison to Samsung, LG, HTC and Sony etc- that's another thing I'm thinking about too.

General performance on both phones should be great I'm guessing? Specs look beastly on both! I'm leaning towards the Mate but any help will be appreciated. NOTE: I'll be keeping this phone for next two years.

The Mate 10 Pro definitely has better battery life and camera. I EMUI but there little things with notification that bother me. This is my first Oneplus phone and I really starting to learn I like the stock and feel more than anything else. For me in the US updates have been hit or miss. I noticed I get them after people in other countries. So if it is battery life and camera is most important, I would go with the Mate 10 Pro.

I am thinking of a new phone myself. I have an Honor 8 (Huawei). I don't mind the software so much. I use Nova launcher. I bought my wife a OnePlus 5T. It is a pretty nice phone. The 6 seems like a good phone. I don't care about wireless charging, but I'm a little worried about the glass back since I usually don't use a case. Notch: I'd prefer not to have it, but I know I can turn it off.

I'm drawn to the Mate 10 because of the battery and camera. I like the direction of OnePlus with updates. I'm not so sure how Huawei will do. I can't really decide... The mate 10 Pro is $649 on Amazon or at Bestbuy right now. For $629, I could get the 256GB OnePlus 6. Someone help me decide....

If you can afford it get the p20 pro. Love mine.

Hi! I've ordered the Mate 10 Pro, it just has the better camera and battery life buddy. I'm going to put on Nova Launcher and I'll be good to go! I'd recommend it over the OnePlus 6 because it's the better all rounder

I am not sure about it being better all rounder, but it definitely leads in the camera and battery department.

Huawei if the mate 10 pro or p20 pro is build like the mate 9... mine lasted 2 years with zero hipcups/lag. that said the onePlus 6 cannot be over-looked... that that said. i just purchased the p20 pro
