OnePlus 6T and Bose QuietComfort 35 ii volume issues

[Android Central Question]

I have recently updated my 6T to Android 10, however prior to the update, when using my quietComfort headphones, the volume for them and my phone were synced together. Meaning when I used the buttons on the headphones to change the volume, the volume slider on the phone would pop up and change aswell. However since the update there are now in a sense two volume levels. I could have the volume all the way up on my head phones but all the way down on my phone and no music would be playing. Is there anyway to get it back to how it was? I hope this makes sense and thank you in advance.
