Hello all,

Which one do you prefer? Which one is the most solid protection for the display? Also, which one is the easiest to apply?
I just received the OnePlus glass, waiting to get the Orzly one next week, then I'll choose which one I'm going to use, based on your comments :)

Thanx a lot for your help :)

oh that's great. It'll give me an idea.

Are you using a case with your phone?

I use the OnePlus flip cover actually but I also ordered the Karbon Bumper case and the Orzly Red case as well.
I like the flip cover because the whole phone is covered, feels safe. But I also like the Karbon case, no flip, easier to use the phone... I used to use a O+ with a flip, and then an Axon 7 with a regular case, hard to choose between the two...

I've used both, and honestly I like the Orzly better. the official OnePlus screen had bubbles that would not go away, plus it was a little tricky to install. the Orzly was very easy.

I'll use the Orzly one then.

after a little testing, the OnePlus screen protector has a better oleophobic coating. the Orzly definitely shows more fingerprints. so take that into account too.

The bubbles are an issue some like the Orzly prevent by slightly raising the cover with dimples, and so allowing more movement of air.
However that can under some lighting conditions result in a greater visibility of those dots.
Nobody can say whether you will or will not experience that.
Seems to be a trend amongst the 3rd party manufacturers, so doesn't seem like a gimmick.

It's not a gimmick,as the screen area doesn't have adhesive. Without the little raised dots, the screen would have a terrible rainbowing effect. There tends to be slight rainbowing near the center of the screen, but it's hard to see when the screen is on.

So, both have drawbacks, but the air bubbles that would not go away with the OnePlus protector bugged me more.

I would've probably said the OP Screen Protector would be the better option but yeah would love to know whether 3rd party ones can compete quality and price wise!

OP version is guaranteed to work with their current cases, and future ones most likely.
While testing by others seems to show the Orzly being compatible, I wouldn't rely on that in the future.
Though the OP version still has the well described problem of marginally overlapping the side edges of the screen with the black edging, something I believe the Orzly does not do.
OP version has better fingerprint prevention I understand.

Neither is outright better, and each has their own pros and cons.
