I just got the beta earlier this evening. I agree with those saying not much has changed, in function, but the appearance changes are bigger and more noticeable. So far I like what I've noticed in the appearance.
After the update, mind you it's only been a few hours ago, I noticed my battery had dropped way more than expected. I restarted it and had a chance to put it on the charger for a few. I expect it to take a few days to learn and get right but with my schedule I'll know right away if there are any changes in performance. I don't expect to get 4 days and any hours but if I can end my day closer to 40% I'll be impressed.
The thing I wanted and thought was included is the stable camera thing. After it wasn't included I searched online and found two different answers. One saying that we won't get it because it involves the sensor as well as software and another saying the software just isn't included in the beta, or maybe in 8.5 altogether. I find it hard to believe the sensor plays that much of a role in this feature. It's been done in the past, by other makers, with lower spec sensors, hard to imagine we won't get it. They may keep it from us, until they sell more of their substandard S26 devices but to think we won't get it at all doesn't seem possible to me. Guess we'll see.
