OneUI Home and possible battery drain issue

Hey! This is my first Samsung, so I'm not sure if OneIU Home should be using up so much battery? It's always at the top of my app list with almost 10% of the battery. Is that normal? Last night, I noticed my battery dropped from 44% to 30% in 6-7 hours while sleeping! It seems worse after getting the March update.

I have 3 widgets: Yahoo Sports ticker, Google At A Glance, and Google search bar. Google and Yahoo Sports haven't been eating up much battery though.

Another possibility is how often you have your email app checking for new email. I have 5 with only my work email set to update once an hour. The rest are only when I refresh.

I have at glance only mine stays around 1.5%
Try clearing cache then force stop

Thanks! I do have my email coming in instantly, but I'll clear the cache and force stop. I've also noticed that Digital Wellbeing is eating up a bunch of battery too. It doesn't show up in the apps listing, but there's a big % on its app info page. I don't use DW and have restricted it as much as I can.

I think I'll stay away from Alliance Shield based solely on the developers replies to reviews. Big yikes.

you can reproduce the issue (whenever you see the drain again) and report to samsung members app > get help > error report to get confirmation from samsung whether it was a normal behavior or something abnormal that needs fixing.
