OneUI7 Issues (and disappointment)

First, this has to be the worst OneUI to date. Things aren't where they'd logically be, tucked into sub menus, not in GoodLock. GoodLock mostly works including HomeUp and QuickStar but need manual shortcuts to open them. This entire update feels like I'm in a beta. It's no wonder they haven't pushed this out. Quick Settings clumsy. Outdated Security updates already. List goes on though there is plenty to like.

Anyway... The point of this post.
Without going into specifics, I'm assuming the issue I'm experiencing is Samsung related. My password manager which I will not reveal, is suddenly not showing in-line of G-Board. Not with any browser.
This is very reminiscent of Samsung Internet blocking everything except Samsung Pass but it's system-wide.

Has anyone else experienced their PW Manager not working anymore? Anyone know how to fix it (aside from "wait for Samsung to fix it"?) I'm getting annoyed with this password manager game Samsung plays pushing their idiot Samsung Pass that would be fine if there was a desktop component. There technically is but is so 🐕💩 and non-functional the reviews speak for themselves.

I use 1password and auto fill works perfectly within apps and the browser. The auto fill shows up in the keyboard.

I use chrome, Gboard though, since I don't like and use any Samsung apps.

I'm assuming you have set the preferred auto fill service in settings?

This is another case of "WTF, why me...?".

I always have these dumb problems nobody else does. @bhatech I did set it there tried changing to S-Pass and back to my current one, still nothing.
Verified versions on my S23 Ultra and they are all the same for the browser, manager, etc..

Guess I'm in search of a bandaid or some hacky workaround..

Edit: OT, new GoodLock update just dropped.

Also the the GoodLock is awful. Not consistent in how you launch modules between the two pages and the ones on the second page don't load properly. Excellent.

Interesting. Tried a different PM. Not happy with the switch but seeing as I have no choice...

The old one works everywhere except browsers, so something security related must have changed.

I actually have been liking UI7 enough to make me stop using Nova. I do use Bitwarden and it works well with any keyboard I'm using (Gboard here), if it's worth anything.

Id be using OneUI launcher if it supported nested folders on the app drawer and (maybe themepark can do it) custom folder icons in the app drawer. It's a otherwise capable launcher.

My biggest gripe is the quick settings. It's atrocious IMO*. It's both cluttered and too spaced out. Hopefully GoodLock (I hate the cheese names Samsung uses for GoodGuarians and GoodLock and the respective modules) will add some customization down the line.

*Unless you put IMO ones word is taken as gospel and some rando 4 months down the line says how wrong you are.

I'm not sure how much is the "custom Samsung" SD SoC and how much is optimization to OneUI7 but battery life is phenomenal and it's still learning my usage.

I have unfortunately discovered the issue after playing with multiple PW Managers and how they interact.

It seems that either Samsung or Google upped their security restrictions. A few above work*, a few not mentioned don't.

The issue is that using forked security focused browsers causes even ones above to not work at all or incorrectly. I'm really bummed out.

Have a crippled experience on a secure browser or have a functional experience on an insecure browser.
