Yes yes, internet is fine n doesnt affect... i ve reinstalled google voice services, dont feel much difference

You mentioned that the internet is fine -- but did you also try different networks? I'm just wondering if there's some subtle difference with your network, like maybe some kind of firewall set up.

Can you test with a Bluetooth mic, like on a pair of Bluetooth headphones? It's a longshot, but I'm wondering if the phone's mic might be having some kind of weird interference when the wi-fi radio is turned on.

Works fine for me, but I'm on a Pixel 7 Pro. Let's see what other Xiaomi users think -- @Madd62 and @dangerousfen , have you experienced any issues with voice dictation?

I never use it.
I had looked through Xiaomi's MIUI 14 Settings yesterday.

Not much I can offer, except there seems to be an own brand speech engine one can choose to read text back, so it's the opposite direction to what the OP needs.

Probably a simple solution somewhere. I'll check again later today.

Stock. They only reason can be that online engine is crappy i guess for some reason.

English is not my first language but Ive worked on pronunciation plenty.

I use US. Studied US English .

I've reinstalled Speech recognition service, seems like it help ed a bit but offline is Still better
