Only 16Gb on ATT version?

How can they release this unit in the US market with only 16Gb memory and no expansion slot?
This is a major deficiency for a brand new unit of this size and technology.

I've had dropbox for misc app for android but never really used it, I kinda like how this is pushing people to use the cloud but doesn't sounds data or battery safe. lol

It's funny to see all the tech sights saying the cloud is the future. It was at one point until carriers starting throttling and destroying unlimited data plans. There is no future for the cloud if there is no future for unlimited and stable data packages avaliable. Only 2 carriers can give us this and they don't have a unlimited data package. At least apple is giving us an option of a 64gb iPhone. Only reason why I may be swtiching to an iPhone.
