Hi everybody. It is known that on Android, by means of various screen recorders, it is possible to record a video call. However, it is not possible to record its audio, so the video call is necessarily recorded silent. Google says this restriction is unavoidable for privacy reasons. I think this doesn't make any sense, especially in light of the fact that the Play Store is chock full of "phone recorders" that you can download and use without any restrictions. So why can I safely record the audio of a phone call and not the audio of a video call? Moreover, I make the video call to people I know (relatives, friends, etc.), while, with regard to phone calls, I can record the voice of anyone who talks to me, whether they are people I know or public or private entities. I will be grateful to anyone who will be able to provide me with an explanation on this very curious phenomenon. Thanks.
