Only speaker on the bottom!

Just noticed that only the right speaker grill on the bottom is actually a speaker.

It is indeed. The second speaker grill on the bottom is just a design feature!

Wouldn't the primary phone mic be located there? I'm pretty sure that's the case for previous phones with this kind of design, like iPhones and the Nexus 5.

No... On the bottom of the P20Pro... the right grill is a speaker which pairs with the Earpiece and the left grill is the MIC
