Try talking Google like you said maybe they will extend itI have 2 I don't need anything![]()
I just read another article mention the note 10 might not be enough of a upgrade to the note 9 , I was like phone not even out yet .. SMHThat's my feeling about that type of article as well. We're still months out.. only renders and rumors, so far. But Alex decides to put out a drive by piece on Goggle/Pixels for a headline and some clicks.
Double check that credit....sometimes they have an expiration dateHaha me too..I received $100 store credit for purchasing my wife a pixel 3a. Going to save it to put it towards my pixel 4xl in oct.![]()
Let's face it... We have no real reason except personal satisfaction in upgrading. No different with all our other vices.I just read another article mention the note 10 might not be enough of a upgrade to the note 9 , I was like phone not even out yet .. SMH

Well looks like we know now what it looks like: https://pricebaba.com/blog/google-pixel-4-xl-5k-renders-360-degree-video-exclusiveThat why I always take "renders and rumors" with a grain of salt.
Will know soon enough what the real deal is.
I purchased a 128GB Pixel 3 XL back in October and I returned it rather quickly because I didn't feel like it was worth the $999 price tag. It had less RAM, a single camera, and a terrible notch vs the competition. Plus, with the launch of the 3a, there's absolutely no reason to spend the high price on the Pixel 3 models when the less expensive options can do most of what the 3 and 3 XL can do.
Google needs to step its hardware game up if they want my money. Until then, I'll be going with the Note 10 or iPhone 11 (or whatever they call it) this year.

I'm totally on board with that bigger bezel as long as it's not a notch and we get face unlock, dual cameras and front firing speakers. I much prefer this look than full bezeless screen if it means keeping the front firing speakers 100% worth trade off for me.Well looks like we know now what it looks like: https://pricebaba.com/blog/google-pixel-4-xl-5k-renders-360-degree-video-exclusive
Onleaks are always dead accurate with their renders. They get the schematics or something and create the render from it.
I guess in line with Pixel tradition, the Pixel 4 looks pretty ugly. Very large top bezel and still retains a bottom one.
Yeah I bought the 3XL and didn't feel it was worth the price at all. And you're right, the camera is really the best feature of the Pixel, so if they're going to have the same camera on the 3a, no point getting the regular 3/3XL at twice the price.
With the latest leaks it looks like, at least from a design point of view, they haven't stepped it up at all.
Google is marketing to Apple users, that's for sure. As they should. Who do you want them to take from Samsung? Run a campaign against LG?? Motorola?? Who else besides Apple should they target?
When you are trying to convince someone to change brands, in a competitive situation you want things to be even, then have one or two things to tip in your favor. In this situation, Google is betting on the camera to be the difference to get someone who is considering a change to flip.
Google has a strong offering in the space, and should charge the prices they see fit, just like any other OEM. Base model sticker Xs is $999. Base model sticker Pixel 3 is $799. That's a fair price.
I've been saying for a while that the Pixel is basically Googles attempt to copy the iPhone at every turn. The problem is, if you hold each of these phones in one hand, it is glaringly apparent which feels and looks like a premium device and which one does not. For a company like Google to be going after Apple, I do not understand why they make their phones look and feel like a budget phone.

Maybe someone can clear this up for me , little confused.
How is Google copying Apple?
Is it design?
Is it software?
Is it Al learning?
Because the pixel looks and feels like a Android phone in every way .
Well saidThat's the easy out for people....parrot words is what I call them. Everyone copies or emulates something. Without Google there is no Android.
So after reading the following article it mentions that there is no bottom front firing speaker. Well that sucks bc that was one of the pixel lineup trademarks as well as the camera quality that I always looked forward too.![]()
