OP6T T-Mobile - Odd Issue

I've used Google Photo's as my cloud backup for years and until the 6T, I've never seen this before. After every photo I get a notification from Google Photos saying New Folder Found and it asks me if I want to automatically backup the folder 123434234blahblahblah. Different folder name with each pic.

Previously I only saw this message if I saved a photo from an app that didn't already have backup set.

Is this new to Pie, or something glitchy?
