Open Beta 16 & 8 for Oneplus 6 & 6T

OnePlus have just started the Open Beta 16 & 8 OTA roll out for the OnePlus 6 & 6T to test new features and fixes that may or may not, come to future firmware updates. You will only receive this test firmware OTA if you are already on their Open Beta releases.

Camera version is now 3.0.36

Android Security patch = April 2019

This is the 8th Open Beta release for the 6T in 106 days


(N.B. Open Beta is not available for the T-Mobile carrier minority variant)

I see that OnePlus are still pursuing the extra ZRAM that they introduced on Open Betas 6 & 14.

It seems highly likely that this will probably feature in the next stable release.

Been on it for 5+ hours on the 6T. No issues so far.

No problems so far, it's been a couple of hours. Although I also don't notice any difference at all, which is probably a good thing.

I've have so far not had a single issue with a Beta update since I started months ago. They are almost completely stable by the time they get to us.. for the most part I've not been doing this long but they seem stable on regular basis
