Thanks Ryano89! It looks like you've used Ex Manager to disable ZRAM in the stock kernel... is that correct?

One suggestion being put forward on another forum is that the ZRAM might be used for the Smart Boost feature in OnePlus Laboratory. I turned off Smart Boost and rebooted and the ZRAM usage went from 1.3GB to 101MB but did not disappear.

I'm not running the stock kernel. EXKM can't completely disable the new swap file. But I believe it can be used set swappiness to zero which "should" prevent zram from being used.

Thanks to Yannis Neris over on the OnePlus Open Beta forum, I have disabled the ZRAM/Swap/memplus feature in the latest build as follows...

"Add these build prop lines, save and reboot"

persist.vendor.sys.memplus.enable=false
ro.vendor.qti.config.swap=false
