Open Desktop bookmarks in Android

My workflow is where I would like, from a desktop, save web bookmarks to hard disk via dragging on the siteicon to a folder on a portable usb, which creates a webloc bookmark shortcut file.
This webloc can be opened by doubble clicking on the file and it will open on the desktop browser.

The same similar idea on the usb, plug the usb into my droid phone to have access to those bookmarks and via droid file explorer, open those file links which open in the android web browser.

But all that I am getting on my phone is a text printout with markup when I try to open.
Is there an app that can open these right away?

I moved this from the Android Apps forum to the General Help forum since the former is intended for developers to promote their apps.

You can achieve the same thing if you use Chrome on both desktop and your Android device, as long as they're syncing to the same Google account. Is that not an option? Saving a bookmark to your desktop should automatically get synced to your bookmark list on your phone's Chrome browser.

That is an option, but my workflow would much be benefited with having a physical file in a folder to link to a website.
This, I can include both documents, images and other files

Oh I see. Not sure if that's possible -- let's see if anyone else has an idea ...
