Open Garden WiFi tethering with 2GB plan ?

Hi all. I have rooted my phone and installed Open Garden tethering app. I have a 2GB monthly plan and want to occasionally tether to my IPad 2 I tested the connection and it works perfectly fine. I am most certain and will make sure that the tethering usage will NOT exceed my monthly plan allowance. (I barely go over 1GB on my phone since I'm mostly connected to home/work wifi) So the question is, will AT&T figure out that I am somehow tethering or they won't notice since I am not going over my 2GBs? Would greatly appreciate your feedback thanks!

They might. They have been sending out letters to people who are tethering with a tethering plan.

as I understand from the forums those people are on grandfathered unlim. plans... well guess I'll just have to see. do they give a warning at least or automatically activate tether plan?
