Opening HTML Attachments

I receive secure emails with .html attachments/links to open the messages and can't get them to open. When I click on them it points to "read message" then I click again and get "webpage not available" does anyone know how to correct this? I am using the Gmail app. I have tried the stock email app and get the same thing. I have also tried stock browser, Opera and Chrome and still get the same message. Please help. Thanks

Haven't had problems on my end. Check that the original is legit on a pc.
