Opening http links in e-mail

Hi,

Having problems that http links in plain text e-mails are not clickable. This is a big problem traveling. Is this the patent issue? I thought that the patent issue was forcing the menu choice for the association.

Any ideas??

I am having the same problem with my new Motorola Droid Razr Maxx. Links open in my gmail account but my default e-mail is a web-based account. Links will not open in those e-mails.
Hope to get an answer to this irritating problem. Any help would be appreciated.
