Opening the Gallery and albums in particular

I'm genuinely interested in the Note 3. It's a powerhouse, and the reviews are overwhelmingly positive. It has the fastest mobile chip available, a great screen, and the S-Pen stuff looks really cool (especially the drag and drop stuff), but I have one concern, and it will affect me a lot. Loading the gallery. I know it was an issue on the S4, and I'm not sure it's been fixed yet. It also appears to be an issue with the Note 3. Can anyone confirm this? What has your experience been with it? I included a video to show what I mean....

I can imagine it only gets worse with the amount of pics you have in each individual album, and especially with cloud services like G+.

What this looks like to me is a ****ty SD card has been inserted into the phone. I have a class 10 32 GB in my S4 and Note 2 and have never had a delay.

I'm not buying the SD card speed problem, because even if that was it, and the SD card was 10x faster, that would still take 27 seconds to open. I definitely sync cloud services with my gallery, and I would with this device too, since I don't want to NOT use features that are useful for me.

Can anyone that's syncing some cloud services to the Gallery test this out?

Yeah none of those on his device are synced obviously, and none are actually on an SD as they would have a SD icon on the top right corner. Something funky is going on for sure, as I have 600 + photos, 10 albums and synced facebook albums with no issues.. no delays. (Note 2, S4)

Hmm....seems weird to be so bad on some devices and non-existent on others.

My S4 is this way. Our review unit S4 was this way, also.

I keep a few photos on the phone, but the bulk of them are in the cloud. Sometimes it takes even longer to load than this. Funny thing is, no other devices have a problem syncing the pictures.

I stopped complaining, because I was tired of getting accused of being a troll.

T-Mobile. Does the same on the AT&T and International version though.

Doubting that it matters but my Note 2 and S4 are both Verizon.

On my OG Note I had a similar issue after updating to 4.1.2. On mine it was unusable for a time, but eventually after continued use it got better. I think it is a issue with indexing the files and such. I think it gets worse with pics and content that is offloaded to cloud services. It is fine now and loads within a few seconds.
