I am beyond pissed off with google fi!

My wife has multiple voicemails, but to access them we have to create a PIN. Easy?

When I looked on-line to find instruction for setting the PIN via the Fi website, I found “In the 'Home' tab, under 'Phone settings' click Voicemail.” But for my wife's phone, there is NO ‘Phone settings” and I tried two different browsers.

I then found some stuff that suggested voicemail could be enabled via the google Fi app. So, I opened the app on her phone, but I was informed ‘To activate service, your phone needs the latest version of the Google Fi app”. Easy? I clicked the button to update the app and when the installation was done, it then said “Tap to finish activation” and I tapped the message, but the app refuses to open. I then cleared Google Fi data, rebooted the phone, and again when I click the google Fi app, nothing happens!
I did call a number and the phone works.

I then found the URL fi.google.com/webcalls, but was only able to access the info for my phone and not my wife’s phone. I did check and I believe that all apps are fully updated.

What the blazes is going on??? In case it matters, the phone is a moto g7 running Android 9.
