opinion on kernels

which kernel are people using for the rooted fascinate with voodoo. which ones are the most stable not causing problems. btw, im running ed01

People have different opinions on what they like. OTB is a popular one as it comes bundled with Comm Rom. Comavolt is another good one.

Personally I like OTB myself, but I can't seem to run anything but stock voodoo without getting SOD.

OTB 1.4 was the best for me on KB but i know for others it wasnt even stable. Im running 1.5 now and 1.4 for me was still much better. Sharky will tell you comavolt is his favorite. Others prefer imnuts kernels. It all is what works best for your phone. Since all of them are so different but still the same. Try them out for a few days than swtich and try out a diff one for a few days. give each one a fair shake like 4 days each. Good luck.

Kernels are hit or miss depending on the phone. Mine seems to like OTB 1.5 so far, but each piece of hardware is different...

Lovn the good ol comavolt. Was havn issues with otb so i flashed comavolt last night, did a full charge sequence, and wiped bstats. Ive been on my first drain cycle since 9 pm last night and now at 11:30 am the next day, im at 75% and no issues so far.

My old phone (3g loss) and apparently my new one especially LOVE OTB 1.5. I personally like it because it feeds my need to mess with my phone...

The only OTB I could find is 1.3 but that one seems to be running ok so far on the EC01 modem.
