Optimizating The Note 3 Camera

So today I tested the M8 against my Note 3 Camera in an awkward light setting (background with yellow lighting). The M8 totally eliminated the yellow, and the background was clear (not an M8 camera fan from what I have read just an FYI) while my Note 3 was yellowish. What setting, alternate apps can I use to optimize my Note 3 Camera? I would love to not get a S5 for the camera (my phone is my camera, and I have a young daughter that I use it for), so any insight and setting help would be awesome!

What kind of settings in particular are you using with the Note 3 camera ? Auto, other mode, EV setting less or more, stabilization on or off, etc. ? Are you on 4.3 or 4.4.2 ?

I use Camera Zoom Fx & Camera VF-5. Both in the Google Play store. Been using Camera Zoom Fx for years. You can either set the camera to take away the yellow light live, or edit it after. I know it's a pain, but using a 3rd party camera app does the trick and makes the pictures 100 times better on the Note 3. 😊

Palm Treo line > BlackBerry line > Samsung Galaxy S line > NOW the awesome & powerful Samsung Galaxy Note 3! 😆📱😆

I was just looking for settings that will take the nicest pictures (like removing the yellow tint) without me having to edit the photo and such.

Would you use Camera VF-5 or Camera Zoom Fx? Or which one do you use more?

Another question. Which setting(s) will h lp get rid of the yellow tint. I have noticed the front camera doesn't seem to have the yellow tint (or not noticable) while the main noticeably does.

I don't know if this will help but if you go to camera, push the menu button, then push manage effects and uncheck sepia. Try it again and see if it helps. Let me know plz

Is this in the stock camera app? Because I can't find it anywhere. I found it in Camera FX but it wasn't checked, and when it is everything is black and white.

The yellow tint is the back light in the sensor. You have to remove it in post processing. Some cameras are less severe than others. This phone isn't as bad as LGs lol

The smart stabilization is bad because it really puts the back light in the sensor to use to get a brighter picture.

Have you tried Camera Awesome, anyone?
