I've been dying to mess with one of these and got the chance last Friday at a Best Buy in West Los Angeles. Thing is, out the box I found it to be a little blah and not really laid out all that well. So, I created a gmail address on the fly, jumped on the market, downloaded Launcher Pro, set up seven screens and a custom dock with icons. Then I added a bunch of widgets and apps. By the time I got done (about thirty minutes), the thing looked killer. So much so, that I had completely come around on the device. I didn't really have any interest in it before, but it might make my Christmas list now. I was *this* close to rooting it and attempting to install the ApeX ROM, but thought I'd taken it far enough and didn't want to do any accidental bricking

Anyway, at least this way it'll give customers a glimpse at what is possible on Froyo. Cool device.

Someone is going to be so pissed when they get theirs and realize it looks nothing like the demo unit. lol.

I hope you put dolphin HD on it too..for some reason the stock browser is REAL bad...scrolling up and down was very painful even wtih flash turned off...

Dolphin however, was another story, its very smooth and the tabs are great on the larger screen (I dont like Dolphin on my droid 2, but its great on the tab!)

HA - I did indeed.

quick question...how do you set up launcher pro the right way? downloaded it now trying to set it up? where is it lol

Poor best buy sales staff. they probably had no clue how the tab worked before you got your hands on it and now they really won't know how to help the people. You should stop in and see if they have changed it back to factory settings.
