I rooted the Optimus black with Gingerbreak and installed Cyanogenmod. I didn't much care for it so restored the unmodded ROM. So far so good. I played around with the phone and in the meantime removed the mod ROM's .zip file from the sdcard root and also ran the software update proposed by the phone's interface - I think it was an upgrade to Android 2.3.
Now when I turn on the phone it goes into ClockworkMod recovery v5.0.2.6 and will not come out of it no matter what option I try.
The phone was a birthday present to my wife and she'd had it an hour before I broke it.
Please, please help!
