Optimus LG LS670 phone needs to be rooted and SD memory card needs to be partitioned. Help?! I have no more available space on phone.

Why do you need to root it?
First I would try to do a factory data reset and only install the absolute minimum apps you need.
As for the sd card, you can format it in the phone
