Optimus T Help??

I recently got the Optimus T. I checked for a firmware update, there was one available. When I pressed update, it prompted me to plug in the phone. When I did, it restarted and now it flashes between the LG logo and Firmware update, yet it isn't loading. That was last night. Is there anything I can do or do I have to take get a new phone? I haven't been able to get into emergency mode... I've tried a soft reset. Help anybody??

Try a hard reset Settings>Privacy>factory date reset. Don't worry every android user has to performed a hard reset.
