option for exporting contacts

I don't have the option of saving my contacts to the SD card...only "Send namecard via"....how can I get this option back? I use to have it.

If you have them synced to gmail... that is where they are. The BEST place for them, is in the cloud. So long as you have an attached gmail account, and they show up when you log in to web gmail, you are fine.

When saved to the SD card, it cannot save EVERYTHING, and it comes back messier. Unless there is a reason not to use gmail? Even then, it is easier to export from gmail itself to many formats.

EDIT- If you go into your CONTACTS and hit MENU... do you not have IMPORT/EXPORT as an option?

I too am trying to export my contacts to my SDcard and the only option it gives me when I go to my contacts and hit MENU then hit IMPORT/EXPORT is only gives me "send namecard via".....it does not give me the IMPORT/EXPORT option????

I have not looked into it but you might be able to copy the file where they are located when you connect to the PC
