Options for changing Verizon plan?

I have 4 phones with the More Everything Plan that only include 4gb data a month. My bill is about $240 a month from Verizon. All 4 phones are still under contract (Verizon's 2 year deal). I believe 2 phones are up the end of this year and they other 2 the end of next year.

What are my best options to get more data and possibly even lower my bill?

They may have something that competes with att's 4 line 10GB/mo. For $160

I could've sworn I heard them offer something similar after att came out with that plan

If you go on Verizon edge then you can get 4 lines for $160 with 10gb but you would have to pay full retail for the phones. Overall it would probably be worth it.

Not much you can do while you are under contract.

However the best deal is to buy your own devices (not be under contract) and to have 10+GB of data. The more lines, the better the deal.

We have 9 smartphone lines and 30GB data for about $250, or a little over $25/line.

How is that, the line charge is almost $360. I know you get the $25/line discount but even so that would wipe out most your phone payments. Then you have data charges on top of that.
Maybe I'm not understanding the edge program right.

You can also get the same $25 discount just for being out of contract. Edge is not required.

So if I'm under contract now on the old plans and change to the new everything plan and get 20 gigs data, all my lines get the $25 discount? I thought you had to be on the edge with payments for the phone.

Well you could have as of last month. The promotion has since expired, but Verizon might make an exception.
