Order status

So someone on Reddit said that they ordered last night and just got a shipping notification. OnePlus's website, when you click 'Buy' now says it ships immediately (versus 4 days yesterday):

But, when I go through the checkout process, the free shipping option gives me the same July 2nd date that I had when I ordered mine a few days ago. So, who knows?

I ordered on the 14th. I received shipping email and UPS tracking on the 16th. The tracking notice said ready for UPS to pick up and on the Oneplus site, the order said "shipped out." for delivery on the 20th. As of today, 22nd, both the UPS notice and Oneplus site are still reading the exact same thing. I am not sure what is going on. I am ready to cancel and hold off for a while. Something doesn't seem right??

I ordered the 15th and mine just changed to processing. Finally. Who knows what is going on. Hopefully mine ships by end of the week.

Update! Well I just got a text from DHL for a delivery from Winsing supply chain, pick up 6/23 and delivery on 6/27. Looks like they padded a bit.

I just got an update on mine that was ordered on the 17th. Shipping June 30th and arriving July5th. Originally supposed to ship June 23rd and arrive on the 30th.

Well, I engaged Oneplus online chat support in a conversation, trying to find out why my device has not been delivered. What a cluster____....Needless to say, I then called Oneplus customer service and rehashed the whole ordeal. I was hoping someone could help me locate the device I ordered and paid. I was told to call UPS, that they were doing the delivery. I called UPS Customer Service for a tracking search. UPS came back and said that the label had been created on June 16th, but they were waiting on Oneplus to provide the merchandise to ship. UPS said the delivery date of the label states for delivery on Monday, June 20th. I called back 1+ Cust Service and explain that "THEY" are the one's we all are waiting on... So now Oneplus has created a Case/Ticket number and their inquiry team suppose to contact me in 24-48 hrs.........Are you freaking kidding me??!!!!! Oneplus had no issue accepting my money immediately on June 14th, now I am having to investigate, research and track down my merchandise and it is June 23rd and I am told to wait 24 to 48 "more" hours for an email???? This company can SUCK IT!!! It sounds to me like they have accepted payment for more orders than they have devices to fulfill and are blowing smoke to paid customers, while hoping for another shipment from where ever. That is OK, just be upfront on your website when people are placing orders. I apologize for the rant.....

Your rant seems justified, and it's good hearing about negative experiences so that others can judge what happens to them.

It seems that OnePlus is using a logistics company to handle distribution, which isn't a bad idea since it's hard to build up yourself, and so why not hire an expert; but that seems to have created disconnects between OP and the people who ship the phones. That's the only reason that I can imagine that they had to create a ticket to track down what happened.

I also have a problem with cards being charged before devices ship. It's one thing if you're doing a Kickstarter since you're providing startup money with no guarantee of product, but it's another when you're charging someone for a product. Put a temporary authorization on the card then charge when they ship.

As an aside, OP's site says the 3 'ships immediately,' and when I continued through the checkout process, it says that an order sent to my (US) address can get here July 1 with expedited shipping, or the 4th without, which suggests that they can have a device ready to ship within a business day or two.

Yes, I agree 100% It seems there is a break down in communication in all three directions: 1+, the Logistics Co and the consumer. I I completely understand that every order is not going to processed smoothly and there will be hiccup's. All I ask is for communication in letting me know the status of my order, give me some hope of a speedy solution and express a little care and concern. Even their customer service agent admitted that something was not right and was dumbfounded on any type of solution; so she did the usual and passed the buck on to someone else. It has now been 10-11 days (depending on how you figure time of order) and not only do I not have my purchased merchandise, but I am also out the cost. They charged my PayPal account immediately. I am giving them (1+ and whom ever else) the additional 24-48hrs for a response to my Ticket#. Afterwards, I will have to take action through PayPal and start that merry-go-round. AARRGG..

Companies that charge BEFORE they ship has always been a pet peeve of mine also. It's just wrong. I've worked for several companies that never charge or even recorded the sale as a receivable until it actually shipped.
BTW: I ordered my 1+3 yesterday and today I received an email and text with the DHL tracking number. DHL states they have picked up the package and delivery (priority) is Monday the 27th (shipping to the US). Can't complain about that. I still have my fingers crossed though.

I ordered my 1+ 3 on Saturday, received a text from DHL with the tracking number and estimated delivery, and the 3 was delivered a day early on Thursday. A positive experience.....

That is very quick. I ordered on the 15th and mine will be here Monday as well. Glad yours processed quickly for you.

FWIW: I ordered June 20th, with an initial 'ship by' of June 24 and arrival by July 2nd with standard shipping in the US.

After ordering, the dates shown on the website slid back to June 30th shipping and July 7th arrival.

On June 24th a label was created, but the order didn't get shipped out until yesterday (June 27th). Order is expected to arrive Wednesday, June 29th - or within the original shipping window of 'buy July 2nd,' and was shipped via 2 day USPS Priority Mail. Oddly, because the arrival date is before I'd expected, I got one of those 'Sorry your order is late' $10 credits from OnePlus.

Ordered mine on June 27th from Ottawa, Ontario. UPS departure scan from Ontario, CA as of 4:30am this morning (29th). Hoping for an overnight miracle since Friday is a public holiday, but estimated delivery is July 4th. Either way, I'm happy that my order is in the hands of UPS.

Thought about waiting for the Gold but can't get over the white face.

Ordered it yesterday and should be here Monday!

Ordered around 7:00pm EST on 7/18 and delivery is scheduled for 7/21. How can I get a package from China faster than a package from 4 states away. Lol

Ordered mine on 7/16. Shipped yesterday from So Cal. Mines shipping USPS, standard shipping, and should be here by Thursday.

I just ordered mine on 7/27. The estimated dispatch time is 8/10, and the estimated delivery date is 8/17. Almost a month...

I ordered mine on 7/24; was originally told it would ship 8/1 and be here (Missouri) 8/6. I just got a notification that it has shipped (7/28) and should be here 8/3. Shipped priority (whatever that means) via DHL - I guess from China.

At least it's not the dreaded BACKORDERED! They seem to be selling like crazy! Can't wait!
