Ordered a Note 2

I've been using my Note 2 since Wednesday. It blows my iPhone 5 away in the features category but one I'm disappointed in is the camera. It is extremely grainy, is there some type of setting I need/can change to fix it?

I attached a picture I took with my Note 2 to show what I'm talking about.

Try using the flash

I have a otterbox defender series case on my GN2. I work in a factory so I needed to have a very rugged case. The battery is the best stock battery I have ever had. I take my phone off the charger at 5:00 PM and don't put it back on till 8:00 AM. I usually have between 40-55% remaining and that is with Bluetooth and GPS running all the time. I once let the battery run completely down, it ran from 5:00 PM to 1:00 PM.

The battery life on this thing way way beats my iPhone 5 which is widely advertised for its long battery life

I use the Siedio Active Case. I love it. I use the holster as well. Fits great on the hip. I have dropped numerous times and no damage at all. As for Screen Protectors I use the standard Verizon Wireless protectors. 10$ for a 3 pack.

The auto mode is grainy. Indoor with flash on, and low light mode when indoors work well. I rarely keep it on auto mode

Yes I get better results indoors and in low light using Scene mode set to Party/Indoor. Also you get better photos with Metering set to Center Weighted. Someone posted a good GN2 camera guide here on Android Central. which a search should turn up.
