Ordered Buds 2 Pros...Delivered a Flip 4

Ordered the Buds 2 Pros. Wanted to get a Watch 5 Pro and Fold 4, also, but decided not to.

Shipment was delayed a day or two. Box showed up today, and... it's a Flip 4. No Buds. Invoice says it's the Buds I ordered, nothing else. What now? Can I open this thing up and take it for a test drive?

Legally you can't, at least where I am. Personally I'd contact them about it, but my name ain't Jiminy, so what you do is between your morals, your momma and cheesus.

You might want to double check this but if you are sent an item you did not order you are entitled to keep it and not have to pay for it. Of course that depends on the laws where you live. You should double check that you indeed cancelled your order.
 
Wow, never heard of this happening before. Someone is probably looking at a Buds 2 Pro box & wondering where their Flip 4 is.

Yeah; I get that under the FTC you can keep goods accidentally sent to you by mistake, but I really just wanted my Buds. I started a chat with Samsung earlier, and they're trying to get me to reorder my Buds again, and then they'll refund that payment once they get the phone back. Sorry; I'm not double-paying (even temporarily) for their mistake. This is turning into a chore. I just wanted my Buds.

Well, I pre-ordered my Flip4 on 10 Aug and still have not received it. Received a tracking number, but only shows label created 22 Aug and no movement into habds of FedEx. Samsung eCommerce reps in 2 separate chats have told me wait 2 days, then call back, Did that, then chat again wants 2 more days. They said they would cancel my order, refund what I have been charged already and I can reorder. But the price now that we are out of pre0rder is $400 vs $139 (change to memory upgrade and decrease in trade-in offered). My response: NO. Only acceptable solution is they ship me another Flip4 in same design, color, specs at the same price they contracted for during preorder. Next round of the battle is due on Wed == the saga continues.

Samsung Chat reps are useless and will do nothing to help. Dealt with them multiple times and never had 1 issue resolved through them. If you can get a call with someone at Samsung, you have a better chance of actually getting someone knowledgeable enough to help you or reorder for you at the same original price.
 
I'd sell the Flip 4, (assuming laws in your state allow), then using that oodles of more money you'll now have, order the Buds from Amazon, and even at full price you'll end up with a tidy profit.

After a bunch of useless chats, and then finally a productive phone call, I settled on reordering my Buds at the original price, but getting to keep the Flip 4. So I'm $300 in and have the Buds and the phone. I'm OK with this overall.

So, this is a 256 Khaki/black Flip 4. Looks pretty awesome. How much are these going for on the market right now?
 
Nice result. As someone who is waiting on a bespoke flip 4 though, I do feel for the poor ******* whose phone they gave to you lol.

Yeah; I would've been fine with them just overnighting my Buds to me and getting this phone picked up and delivered to the proper owner. I know waiting for stuff sucks. Samsung never seems to take the easiest route, though.
 
I ordered the buds with voucher promos Aug 10th and my order still shows "getting ready for dispatch".it's Aug 30th today.
 
Well, I still have not received my Z Flip4 that Samsung insists has been "shipped!" After waiting the 2 additional days after Monday's chat, I called today, waded through two levels of AI "Virtual reps" and finally got a human on the phone. She finally agreed my Flip4 is "lost in shipment" (they never had it picked up by FedEx). Now the process is to issue a refund on my credit card -- that takes 24 hours to initiate. Tehn they have towait for the refund to go through and notify back to Samsung -- maybe another 5-7 days. Then Samsung says they will issue a "Promo code" that allows me to reorder and pay the discounted trade-in price that was reflected on my pre-order invoice. Then I have to wait out whatever the accumulated delivery time has grown to in order to receive my new Flip4. All this might take another 30 days, just to correct Samsung's shipping error.

I asked if they couldn't just pull a Flip4 from the fulfillment warehouse and ship it, but tehy insist Samsung's "system" soes not allow something like that.

You asked the question as to whether you can open it up and give it a test... absolutely. You have 15 days to try it out and then return it with no issues. I have done it with the Flip3, Fold 3 and now Flip4.
