Ordered galaxy watch 5

It's a big watch. I have to wear it high on my wrist because of my tiny wrists and also because I'm pretty tatted up. The only place the sensor works accurately is a little clear from tats spot.

I got the watch 5 pro

Just got my Watch5 Pro! It looks slightly thicker than the Watch4 but setup was pretty smooth.

I got mine after work today. Received the notification on the FedEx app that they attempted to deliver but no one was home to sign for it.

Rather than having them return the same freaking time every day somehow expecting me to be there, I ran to the shipping center and was able to get it.

I like it overall, but still holding out to see if I'll return it. The bezel is taking some getting used to.

I came from the watch 3 and the 5 is a much better watch period !

No doubt it's a huge upgrade from the 3. But I'm coming from the 46mm GW4 Classic, so there's not much difference in regards to functionality, OS, processor, etc.

Yeah, but not sure it's a deal breaker yet. I gain potential new function with the body temp sensor, sapphire display, titanium casing and the biggest seller is the beefy battery.

Agreed, this whole blood pressure thing is complete BS. I know there is a workaround but we shouldn't be paying $400 or more for products that don't deliver on features.

There's a working workaround for the BP scanner? I used to have an app that bypassed the block from some Australian survey type site but they ended the program. It still worked after but I ended up having to factory reset by watch and lost it. I downloaded it again and it wouldn't work. I'd appreciate it if you could share the workaround with me.

I ordered the Watch 5 on August 19 and it said it was backordered and wouldn't ship until the 21 of September. I went to order another watch 5 because of the quicker ship time so I cancelled my first order. Now I have to wait until the credit limit goes back to normal so I can place a new order. I'm already financing the S22 and Tab S8. Weird thing is if I go to TD Bank, my credit limit shows I have enough, but I guess I have to wait for Samsung to get their stuff together or properly communicate with them.

I don't know if I like the looks of the 5 pro guess I would have to see it on my husbands wrist in person but he's fine with his watch 4 classic and he likes the bezel and that it's not aluminum like my small watch 40mm. Mine is coming tomorrow and like I said I didn't need to do it but for 85 bucks I did and hope to get back at least 50 or 60 selling the duo charger and I have two watch chargers. I hope mine comes before I leave for work at 1:30.

I was just able to place my order for the Gray Watch 5 and it should be here by August 30. Pretty excited to be replacing a 3 year old Ticwatch Pro with it. And they're going to give me $75 for it.

I guess I'm a Samsung fanboy now as I'll have one of every type of Samsung mobile device. Phone, tablet, earbuds and watch. I do believe that Samsung makes the best overall android devices.

For years I would have all these different devices and none of them worked well with each other. Mainly earbuds and phones. I'd buy cheap earbuds and they would all act differently with every android phone I'd have. Some would connect immediately, some would take me going into the settings and tapping on the device to connect it. However, I can be watching or listening to something on my S22+ and when I switch over to watching or listening to something on my Tab S8, it will automatically switch to my Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 or they will pop up asked me if I want to connect to them. Apart from Apple and iOS, I don't think there is any other manufacturer that works this way. It's so nice to have.

Dang it, I said I wouldnt go past my GW3, mostly due to the bezel. But Sammy will give me more credit for my GW3, than what I will have to pay! I hate to miss out on a great deal.

Now that you've had the 5 for a few months, what's your feeling on the GW5? Still enjoying it better than the GW3?

That's why I'm not buying a Galaxy watch until they come through with the "promised" blood pressure feature. I don't buy devices on promises=lies :-\
