I believe you are correct, retla = Latin america.

However I read on a support forum where a moderator said updates don't use Software Channels. Someone was worried they would not get an update because their software channel was empty. Mod said that some phones don't show a Software Channel and it doesn't matter. It won't keep you from getting an update.

Have you heard of anyone with your phone, using cricket, that got Oreo?

We have two US unlocked Z2 Play / XT1710-01, in Verizon. I'm rooted, so still on 7.1.1, but the wife's is not rooted and she is on 8.0

Well, FINALLY. Got the notification that Oreo is available. I'm on Verizon in Montana, U.S.
I should also note that it is VZW branded.

That's strange. Most other Motos that are eligible for Oreo are getting 8.1.

My Ok Google and Hey Google stopped after the update. The phases just don't launch anything. Retrained a couple of times.
Touching the mic button does allow voice search. Just hot words not working.
