Oreo killed Bixby voice wake-up

I bought my note 8 several months before Oreo was released. Having a speech impediment I didn't try Bixby or google. When I did try Bixby I went right through the training and enhanced pronunciation sentences. I was able to easily change setting, dictate and send text, etc.

Now with Oero I can barely get through the, "Hi Bixby," let alone the enhanced sentences. However, google works every time.

Have clear caches, data and even done several factory reset. I'd really like it if Bixby would wake up again, any ideas appreciated??

Bixby voice wake up has never worked for me, no matter how much voice training I do with it, British accent I guess

Derren, Bixby worked great for me on Nougat and I have Cerebral Palsey. My voice is far from clear yet on Oreo it won't wake up. Google however works every time but can't do half of what bixby could. Try it again, go into settings under apps and clear the data for Bixby voice and it will start over.

What bugs me is I watch tutorials on it from YouTube where I can't even understand what the guys saying but his phone does.

I use Bixby voice for everything, and I have Oreo on my Note 8. My husband has an iphone 6s plus, and he says his next phone is Samsung as he is so impressed with my phone.

Wow it worked that well on nougat, I've had the S8plus and now the note 8 and bixby has been terrible on both for voice wake up no matter how many times I retrain and do the extra bits for voice recognition
If I use the button it works but even then it's slow and sometimes miss hears me.

There's a sensitivity setting somewhere you can change, I literally had to Shout at Bixby because it was at lowest setting but 1 notch up and it was fine

I have it set to the highest sensitivity and it still doesn't want to wake

Do you always say "Hi Bixby" versus "Bixby"?
Yep but still no joy, I've tried "Hi Bixby" or "Hey Bixby" in the setup just to see if that made a difference but nothing works for me.
I'll try and clear it and start again to see if I can get it working from scratch again.

One thing I do notice of late, is that in the morning when I turn my phone on that I have to toggle the Bixby wake up on and off and then on--to get it going again for the day or as it doesn't respond to my voice after sitting all night. So that is a glitch since Oreo.

I’ll try that
