Oreo: Re-enable Lock Screen Time on Movement???

I have a rather specific need for the feature that allows the lock screen to show the time after movement. Since updating to Oreo that feature is now, as far as I can tell, gone.

I can set the time to be Always On, Off or Off for specific times and then On.

Does anyone know how to return the phone so that the clock on the lockscreen times out like it used to only to return on movement?
