Oreo update messing up play store

After updating my HTC 10 to 8.0, the play store keeps closing when I try to see any app. Is this happening to anyone else??

I have not had any any issues since I updated. actually my phone is working even better than it did before. I was having an issue where my phone was restarting randomly and so far it seems that the Oreo update fixed my phone.

Uninstall Play Store updates. When you exit it will d/l updates. After it installs it will work fine. You may have to enter your PW so have it handy.

Make sure boost+ is not optimizing the play store app.

This has been my experience as well. Smoother performance, better battery life, and the random reboots have stopped completely.

I had the same issue, found the solution on another forum abou HTC U11.

Do the following in the Boost+ app

In Boost:
Uncheck Google Play Store and Google Play Services

In Power Optimizer:
Uncheck Google Play Store

I had this problem on my U11. It drove me crazy. I tried the tip you described and it did not work. Even after uninstalling Boost+ and clearing the system cache on the U11, the Play store still crashed. I uninstalled the Play store updates and that fixed the issue.

I keep my 10 as a backup device. I updated to Oreo on the 10 and have not had a problem with the Play store as of yet.
