Oreo Update - Moto Z2 force - T mobile variant

I have two questions for the group:

1) I am using Moto z2 force TMobile version but using metro PC's sim card. When will I get Oreo update? Since I am using metro PC's sim card would it delay the update?

2) can I get official Oreo installed on my phone without out t mobile crap on it such that phone will be still in warranty.

1. It depends. Depending on the OEM, depending on the phone, you may not get an OTA without the SIM for that carrier installed. We've even seen Motorola not push an update to an unlocked phone at the same time because one phone had an AT&T SIM versus a Verizon SIM in it.

2. Are you talking about installing an official non-carrier Oreo ROM?
