If Asus follows the "2 major OS updates" rule of thumb, that device should get it as it's only gotten one so far. When? Anybody's guess, only Asus would have an idea as to the progress of developing the update. Samsung just released (or announced) a beta of Oreo for this year's flagship phone, the update for last year's is still in development.
