Happy early Christmas! Just saw this:

OnePlus 5 OTA for Oxygen OS 5.0/Android 8.0 Oreo has started rolling out

I just downloaded the Oxygen Update app from the Play Store. That's the best way to get the updates early. Of course if there are any issues with the update you will be amongst the first few to get it

Unfortunately not, but you can give the substratum app escalated privileges without rooting in Oreo.

Something will break it, but I'll enjoy it in the meantime.

I wonder why?

I've been running it since Xmas day and the only bug I've noticed is that it sometimes double vibrates on a touch... Irritating, but not phone breaking.

Downloaded the Oreo beta yesterday. So far I haven't encountered any bugs. We will see what is what going forward.

Apparently the OTA is back on.

Seems to have fixed the double vibrate bug I was experiencing, which is nice.

I do get a weather app I like that doesn't work anymore, but i soapy it's just because it hasn't been updated in 38,000 years.
