They did promise a while back 2 os updates for every phone here in the states, but I'll believe it when I see it.

They committed to quarterly updates on the 5x...I am pretty sure it's on a year old or older patch. Oh and it's still on marshmallow.

Yeah, how they treated the 5x does not bold well. Hopefully they change things up for the better with the newer phones.

Infrequent updates are a deal breaker for me.

I don't think it's acceptable when they are pushing phones in the same price range as Samsung and Apple. At a lower price tag like in their previous phones, then it's more tolerable

So far the 6x is getting updates. Just not all of the models.

I guess I just like to feel that I am up-to-date! It's not like my phone suddenly got worse when Oreo came out.
